About Me

I am a Saudi-American, and my parents are from Al-Ghat (الغاط), Saudi Arabia, and I was raised in both Saudi Arabia and the United States throughout my life. Currently, I am an undergraduate student at George Mason University, pursuing a degree in Physics with a minor in Astrophysics. I am also voluntarily working as a research assistant with Professor Zhang in the Physics and Astronomy Department at George Mason University, where his research focuses on solar physics—the study of our Sun.

My research specifically focuses on studying the behavior of Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs), which are massive bursts of charged particles ejected from the Sun. I work on modeling their behavior and motion to improve our understanding of CMEs. This research helps us predict CMEs and gain insights into their causes. (If you would like to read more about this research and what I do, click here).

I plan to continue my education and obtain a Ph.D. to become a researcher in the field of Physics/Astronomy. While my specific research interests are not yet fully defined, I am particularly interested in the study of Cosmology (Dark Matter/Dark Energy) and Philosophy of physics/Science.
